I liked him lots but as a few people have said the formula is getting a bit old but speaking with a friend of his the problem he has is a simple one, he's on tour far to much so getting to the studio is tough for him. I also know he's changed his studio setup and was having a few issues.

I have to say watch out as I bet once he does get away from the tours we'll see another side.

Gotta say too when he arrived on the scene he was fresh as a daisy, not that many people doing that at the time, Lone n Distance as mentioned but it was a fresh sound when it first hit just being diluted by idiots trying to make pig squealing basses... just leave that to him, he does it well! And the rapping, I never really liked but I guess as with all this shit there is a simple life rule in play...

On mans shit is another mans gold!

Looking forward to some new stuff BG!

P.S. As a performer on stage, kills it!

I did hear he is working on, or is going to start work on, a new EP. So hopefully we will get some new tunes soon!

Then we might get to see a different style from Borgore, as you suggest :P

i didn't know he played vinyl
It's about dropping a track at the wrong speed, and it sounding better than the real thing.

I think his productions sound thin. At least Datsik and Excision have some proper meat in their tunes.

But in all seriousness, parsons19, if you haven't already, check out the Distance albums. Lots of metal influence, but with much more finesse, not just noise. You'll quickly find out why Borgore ruined dubstep... ;-)

Honestly, I don't like all of his stuff except for Nympho, there's something terribly good about that tune. The structure is aight and the girl on the video is hot. I don't think that constitues as a good song, but a guilty pleasure maybe ;)

Will do man :D Thanks for the recommendation :P

I am currently liking a lot of chilled stuff all of a sudden, so, of course, giving Borgore a bit of a rest

Borgore is top notch, like any Bass music artist to get the full effect you have to here it off a system. Thats one thing, then seeing the artist live, with borgore it's an actual experience, last year the night before his birthday he dropped guided relaxation, stage dived then started throwing some mad shapes right in the mix. On his music, it's an extreme take on dubstep but every artist is doing different things, if your into your roots dubstep then i'l be honest it may sound a bit foreign but give it a chance. Borgore's raping ability is so joke but sets the songs up brilliantly and has made loads of my no dub mates chuckle. Last thing from this little bummer rant, people bang on about borgore not have versatility evidence below:

Borgore: Cry me a river
Borgore: Afro Blue
Borgore: Perversion

three cracking tracks but totally different.
