But seriously think for a second about the impact of free energy if it were just dropped into the world today. Never mind completely destabilizing the current world order, probably good for some, definitely bad for others, but consider that an individual human in their current form on the surface of the earth would have access to the sun's energy output of a year... each and every human would have access to that amount of energy. I don't see that working out too good.

It's a brilliant way to make a bit of short term cash and fame... people are so desperate to believe in something "different", that you can get bankrolled for a couple of years if you can come up with enough "what if" and "why does nobody ask...?" bullshit to feed to cases of serious chemical brainrot with cash to burn on books and lecture tickets like parson.

The really desperate ones even get so hooked in they're willing to debase themselves in public on the Internet endorsing their drivel. It's a nasty, but very effective little business.
