I am on the podcast now. A monthly Swamp81 show is ideal.

It's not that I think Chunky is awful, this isn't a personal attack on him or anything, it's just the style that Loe plays really doesn't lend it's self to an MC if you ask me.
2nd, didn't check this one out, but like asbo on some boilerroom sets

I've got no problem with hosting but screaming when i dip over when i dip is just retarded.

Happy for the monthly show :h:

usually not a big fan of mc's but chunky brought some decent, inteligent and well timed bars so I think it worked really well. That bit about the usb got on my nerves a bit though.

Every show would be 100% better without MC's, but then theres no personality to the show, no one to carry it on, no one to big up people, no one to shout out events and shit and release info, it'd get a bit boring without one tbh.

I think N-type/Distance/Skream (stella sesh days)/Chef/Plastician all do fine when they are alone. Well especially N-type and Distance they always manage to multitask that stuff quite well

Yeah, I saw N-Type at the Big Chill and he was doing it then, DJing while shouting into the microphone haha. I'd much rather have the DJ tell me what the tune is than some MC spitting their crappy "bars" all over it. Some music lends it's self to that really well obviously, like Grime, but definitley not the Swamp stuff.

Listening to the podcast again and I'm happy listening to Chunky - made me laugh a fair few times, and like Ashley said a good MC brings character to a show. Chunky's a good host.

And he went for Jimi when he got to play a few tunes.

I could still live without them.... i guess its all the F***king jump-up d&b MC's i've had to deal with in the past that have made me stubborn
