I'm 24, started last summer.

Of course I wish I started this sooner, but I don't think it really matters. I can't see myself sticking to anything this difficult at any younger an age.

My studio gear would probably have wound up in my attic next to my guitars, arts supplies, and unfinished novels.

Word, most kids can get really good at anything really but almost all the time they get burned out on whatever there doing and end up quitting for good. I am a victim to this :/

i thought glowsticks were european 90's rave shit ? :?

i'm 19, theoretically old enough to attend most nights and the ones that are 21+ i manage to get into anyways. but i don't do it anymore, because i respect people not wanting to have teenagers on their parties. (and most nights here are shit anyways)
also i'm growing tired of girls asking "oh btw, how old are you?" after 10 minutes of flirting and then leaving without a word when i say 18/19 :corncry:

Lol, 21 and over club nights? I've never heard of such a thing. Wouldn't make a difference in England anyway. I've been at nights where me and my two mates were the ONLY people there over 18 :\ I would have much rather been the only people there at all...

I've never even heard of Cable XD I'm a Cambridge lad. We have 2 clubs with decent-ish sound systems, one with a monthly dubstep night and the other with a fortnightly bass music night but they are always full of either wicker hat and shirt wearing hipsters or kids. Then lots of shitty dive bars etc that have breakcore/jungle nights that are full of teenage hippies. Then a few chavtastic clubs that play pop/clubland and I think I would dissolve like a vampire in the sun if I even got close to one.

Not a great lot of choice :\
