S3f, Yeah similar to Haunted by Digital Mystiks I'll try get something else going on with the same synths... Thanks for the advice will get to work later on....Prob add a few notes to the intro & change the main synth to something more original. + needs a second layer and chorus to send it back a bit.

The problem I have is One track keeps evolving into another idea and I can't get any of them finished :-?

@DreamThief
Shit dude, getting a lot better! I'm not sure how much I like that sample at the drop, but that's a pretty minor thing. Also, is there a kick in there? If so, I can't hear it all, maybe eq it a bit. Otherwise, the bass sound is fat, I really like some of the percussion sounds in the intro and the drop is goooood. Keep working on it.
If you're having trouble finishing stuff because you keep getting new ideas, just write them down and use them for something else. I know it's hard, but it's better to have a bunch of awesome, inspired, creative songs than one with every idea you've ever had in it. Don't worry, you'll get a chance to use those ideas somewhere down the line if you keep making tunes.

Here's a new tune I just kinda finished. The mix is still a little rough.

@Randomic - nice man... didnt seeing that drop coming. i really like nice little effects and the piano works well, im pretty sure if you finish it off it will be pretty much there!

@Dreamthief - im with hudson with the sample. dont think it really fits, I like the bass though,definatly into that, maybe if some parts you just cut the bass out quickly so that all is left is one of your percussive pipe hit kinda sounds..?

@Hudson - got time for this man! real good, love the vocals and your time stretched cymbals (if thats what it is?) Intro reminds me of a band called team sleep http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90z4vJ69kwM! realy like the whole feel of this would definitly listen to it! perhaps the snare could have abit more highs as it sounds abit damp.

this is a tune that was my first attempt at something abit more deeper, its pretty much done but would love some feedback as i havnt recieved any on it yet and would love to take it further!

@NG_GAMMA
Thanks dude, I appreciate the kind words. About the snare: I mix on computer speakers and a lot of the little things like that are lost on my ears, so thanks a lot, I'll definitely boost the high end of the snare a bit.

Your song is really cool. I like how it builds up then gets quieter at 2:50ish especially. Maybe lowpass the main bass a touch, it seems too grainy. Also, some incidentals, a little delay and some occasional background noises would really make it a lot more interesting. I like the loose snare sound, it really suits the song. Super chill track, I like it so far, but would love to see it grow a little more.

@DreamThief on my tune you talked about the lack of envelopes, were you talking about on the bass sounds or the melody line? and what kind of envelopes would you like to see? just curious

Was referring to your flux pavillion style lead it sounds great just a bit flat. If you've made this in massive try routing one of the blue envelopes to your cutoff our osc position with a nice env design for a more body... :-D

@Cheeky I like the nice syncopated rhythms and the bass sounds nice as well. I think you've structured it well currently but it could use a little variation during the break where you just play the melody

@cheeky... pretty cool idea i like the eerie atmosphere the synth and snare give

@DreamThief... percussion sounds sick really like that, bass is fat and those sounds that pan left to right go really well, only thing i cant hear a kick in there?... i like it tho be interested in hearing it at a later stage

@Hudson... definitely chilled vibes from that which is good the vocal sounds sick although a bit in the break at about 3.06 she went a bit funny. snare sounds like it could do with a bit more high end but wouldn't say too much i quite like it, couldnt really think of much i'd do to it myself?

just startded this yesterday only thing i've made so far that i would post

@Cheeky, I like the beat, but it did feel a little bit repetitive and tedious after a few repeats, maybe a few switch ups could take the track to a new level!

@Krispies, liking the wobble and rhythm, it sounds pretty unique as well and that's a nice change. Not a fan of the melody but that's where my preference probably collides with yours ;)

@Wizeguy, I like the setup of it, very laidback and it has that oldschool feel to it. Maybe an intro would give the track more structure, it sounds good so far from what I can hear!

I think it might be done, I've done a first daring attempt at doing some mastering after the mixdown as well.

@Radiant - Wow that is some pro shit you got there! I really love the Flux Pavillion kinda style, sounds really cool!

@wizeguy - That shit is chill! It just needs a little bit of work, an intro and so on. Definitely keep working on it!

I am not sure if I'm done with this one, so tips and ideas are much appreciated ;) :

@hudson, your song was great. I think the snare sounds very good, I like the way it sort of comes in more smooth like whether it has some reverse reverb coming in or something, it's tight. Like the vocals. I wonder if you've ever listened to some chopped and screwed. Some of it gets boring after a while, but I'm a big fan of time stretched vocals and especially pitched down vocals. It seems like it might be something up your alley to take advantage of aesthetically.

@cheeky, the way the bass comes in leading up to the drop is good, but bring a sub back under the tune to make it phat and have a sick punch. The snare also sounds like it's hitting strong across a wide spectrum which sort of muddies the sound. Look to maybe taper down some of the low end on it. Just needs some tweaking is all to fill out the song.

@Radiant, it's not really my style, but that doesn't preclude me from saying that I think you made a very strong song. The progression and sounds are all great and the 'filth' isn't so filthy, and that I like! I also just think it works really well. I really have nothing constructive to say in that I think you have a finished tune that's absolutely mint.

Is a newer song. Sort of still on a bit of an indie tip with it but I still think it counts as dubstep-ish. Tried to get better at using vocal samples and I think I just need to get some organic vocals down for the main part of the song and if I had a way to record, I'd have an electric guitar at the end. :/

I understand mate. I've only recently been getting good and constructive feedback in here so I understand your frustration. :/

@ Dreamthief - Wicked rythm dude! Really diggin it. Only thing i'd say is change the snare sound to fit with the track more, maybe have more of an upfront dry clap right at the forefront. Wicked percussion and original sound!

@ Gamma - Wicked vibe. In the first section of the drop you need something to draw out over the bass notes otherwise the note changes break the flow too much if that makes sense? Liked the drums and loved the vibe. Keeps you hooked.

@ Wizeguy - Nice vibe. Low end is really nice. Good melodic elements in your bass and mid/hi range.

Ok this is DNB but I just prefer this forum to DOA..

Check my sig or soundcloud for Dubstep if you want..

Anyways..
