I love Ghost Dog. Check out Le Samurai if you haven't, Ghost Dog is basically a recreation/homage of that film almost scene for scene in some places. No subtitles on the trailer but they are on the actual film.

Dogtooth.

Really good. Incredibly unsettling and atmospheric and has no soundtrack except the music actually played in the film.

This movie was terrible.

Just because you are a character, does not mean you have character.

Very atmospheric and uncomfortable viewing. I connected with the main character (more so than I have with any film I can remember) so the raid in the toilet scene really got me :o
I was fully :o for the rest of the film and a good little while after, I must say!
Saw this yesterday, must've been 3 o clock when i finished it! Good film, very interesting camera work... though the story didn't really grab me immensely I must say.

watched this last night. was alright, nothing special. i just really like Ed Norton.

Twin Peaks started on German/French TV-Channel Arte again last night. Saw the pilot and first episode again. it´s so good, but quite a lot of excessive crying going on ...

just saw sucker punch.
my mind is fucked. not blown, fucked. i feel horrible.

at some point it made click and i was like "wait a minute it's not her dreams, it's ours". that, and the realisation that all the excitement i had for the action scenes doesn't matter because everything is ultimately fucked from the beginning gave it an unexpected twist (the intended 'twist' towards the end did neither surprise nor impact me after that)
i mean it's just my interpretation but there's a reason this shit is full of ridiculous pop-culture.
and to people calling it misogynistic, well look around you. look at anime, it's exactly the same. it's not the character imagining herself with such a short skirt, it's us.

or maybe im just still confused, gotta sleep over this one to collect my thoughts...

Fucking brilliant. Was expecting the usual cartoon animal shit, but it's dark and existential as hell at times. Brilliant Fear & Loathing reference where the Depp voiced character encounters Duke & Gonzo.

absolutely magnificent

genuinely deserves the title of 'epic'

Pitt is awesome (as standard), Casey Affleck is surprisingly good aswell - his brother pales in comparisonm, the cinematography of some scenes is some of the best i've ever seen and the score is equally as good

dont know why i never watched it when it came out, or why none of my friends have ever watched it but i recommend it highly to anyone, and anyone who complains about the films length has got it all wrong, you should be happy that the film is that long, i enjoyed every second.

Sam Rockwell was also very good in it

oh and can people stop putting spoilers in posts or at least label them clearly so i can navigate around reading them cos its bare annoying when i start reading a description of a film i want to see and then see 'and it turns out it was all a dream' or whatever
