I just bought good ones on a friend's recommandation and it feels like I spent 500 € on new equipment.
So in case you're, like me, too dumb to know that just go to the store and ask for their best cables
This, Mogami really has the best price/performance ratio in my opinion, and a lot of high end studios are very happy with these cables!Sharmaji wrote:get some mogami and make yr own!

Those, I already had cabled up, but I'm gonna drop a bombshell, they're not even balanceddaft tnuc wrote:nowaysj wrote:Monoprice... wired up my whole studio for NOTHING.![]()

What audio interface & speakers you have ? At the very least you should replace the cable between them.
Thats what expected nice onePromise One wrote:If your manual say's the KRKs have balanced TRS inputs (I'd double check but I think its TS inputs which are the two contact unbalanced version) then it doesn't really matter which connector type you use.
Most audio interfaces tend to use TRS (jack) outputs rather than XLR so you'd probably be better off going for that option.
Isn't it better to use XLR ins anyway ?Promise One wrote:If your manual say's the KRKs have balanced TRS inputs (I'd double check but I think its TS inputs which are the two contact unbalanced version) then it doesn't really matter which connector type you use.

Yup, thier cleaner because each line is separated so there is no chance of circuit crosstalk, but realistically, you wont really know the difference as long as your TRS is balanced. Well, not for the first 15 years anyway.daft tnuc wrote:Isn't it better to use XLR ins anyway ?
