@therebel730 - Loving the sound of this mate. I think your drums could to with some reverb to make it sound a bit bigger and epic. Great job on the fucking heavy bass!

@sprayyypaint - You've made a very interesting start on this track mate. I was gutted when it ended. I think you could do with adding some effects/EQ to the bass in various parts of the song to create different sounds to keep it interesting. Great job so far.

@dougriley - Deep bass :) I think your track would be more effective if you took the top frequencies from the bass to make it a bit warmer. It will also help to bring out some of your incidental noises. Nice job matey.

Feedback would be greatly appreciated...

I need to know if this track is finished guys. I have a label interested in releasing it in the US which is a huge deal for me. I havent sent over this final edit yet. Thanks in advance!

@Willryan042 Really nice track! I don't usually like dnb but this one was better than I expected! As mentioned get those yois away and you have a quality track!

@Voodeedoo I like that dubstep track.. Until you get to the yoi part. You obviously have talent to do something more inovative and better sounding so why don't you do that? Otherwise it was a pretty nice track.
And for that experimental tune of yours.. Don't need anything can I have a 320? :cornlol:

@traffek Nice bass man, but maybe add a couple incidentals to the beat? I'm thinking maybe a bleeb or something every now and then, or a dub siren.
Otherwise all good.

My newest WIP: Soundcloud
Mybe I could get some more feedback this time? :6: Well well you hear what's goin on..
I'm not really satisfied completely with that 140 brostep part.. Dunno what it is but the notes and the automation seems fine but there's something missing..
Sparxy wrote:but when you're comparing him to someone like Skream, there is one fundamental difference. In 10 years I will listen to Midnight Request line and it will sound as sick as the first time I heard it. I probably won't even remember what "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" is.

@ Fused Productions;
Nice and groovy intro, like how the bass builds up.
Drop is minimalistic but that makes interesting drops aswell!
Second drop totally ruined it for me. No clue why you went so ballistic with that wobble. I would just stick with that real groovy part.

@ Festerban;
Seems promising, love those drums.

@ Ideate;
Not my cup of tea but nonetheless great track!

@ Therebel730;
I expected something big but those overly distorted basslines made my excited face into a sad face :(
There is still some work to do on those basslines.

@ Sprayyypaint;
As posted before, that bassline could use some beefing up. They just sound a bit "flat" to me.

@ bRRRz;
I see where you're trying to go and you seem eager.
Add some bass to that synth, should make it fuller.

@ Dougriley;
Now that's deep. Still some work on finetuning that bass and creating a real fat drop (honestly, space would work greatly!)
Really curious at the end result!

@ RAVE;
Nice smooth sounding drums.
Great atmosphere all in all. Seems like that synth (that begins at the beginning of the track) should have some variation.

Bare in mind that all my comments are completely my opinion.

Been working on this track for quite some while and really in love with how piano, violins, flutes and other instruments sound in dubstep.
Please take a listen and leave some constructive criticism. Anything would be greatly appreciated!

Big thanks in advance!

@ideate - Very very nice man... very high production value on your tune man. I really couldnt tell you a single edit id make. The mix sounds excellent and it seems pretty tight throughout the entire song. I wish i could be more constructive for ya. Excellent work, and congrats on the release.

@fusedproductions - Nice little groove going on here. I like the play of hats bringing together the kit. I deff think it gets repetitve and takes too long to hit the chorus.. the break down around 150 is nice though but my personal feeling is that it took too long to get there and shoulve been introduced earlier. Nice work on the tune though keep up the good work.

@Cubicle - Love this man. Im a sap for atmosphere and this does it for me. I love the trailing echo of the top end of the bass as well. I cant common on the mixdown efficiently because im at work but will comment further when im off. I want to hear how the sub plays in the mix. Awesome work bud.

My recent wip is a remix of 2pac's Never B Peace:

@Cubicle: Beginning swells nicely, and the piano is a nice touch. I do think the pads could use a little less modulation, but more midrange. Maybe add another layer? They move nicely, but they're a little distracting. That said, I like the bass. It's smooth, has subtle LFO work, and is rather strong. The break about 2:10 felt welcomed. Oh, one question: is the piano multisampled or a vst? I ask because I think some layering would help in that regard. 3:39 triangle is spot on. All in all, very chill track.

@Fuse: Very old-school vibe in the beginning. I think that having a more pronounced decay on your bass might help with the authenticity. Nice kick, too. The slower section felt like a mix; nice! 'Cept, I think the resonance on your filter seems a bit pronounced; it doesn't really match the beginning. Something subtle, a la Kromestar? I like the tempo increase from that point. Oh, a bit more about the brostep bit: get another synth in there, working with incidentals, or maybe a call and response type of work. The main synth for a bar or two, then another to balance it out. Might be big, might not. Hope I helped!

@Festerbahn: Love the decay/delay on your snare. Feels like your kick gets a little distorted in places; is that an effect of your percussion?

@Ideate: Solid. I'm sure it's finished at this point. I'd say you're one to watch. :)

@Raincoatdisaster: Is it just me or is your main synth a little left-panned? Also, at 0:30, the voice seems a little drowned out. I like the feel, though; I'm not sure of you were going for a darker effect, but I think it's the amount of treble present. Oh, and I think that varying the speed of your LFO would be welcome, if only a little bit.

I think this is done at this point; not sure, though:

@Radiant: not really my kinda thing but nevertheless production sounding tip top, layering is good and it's got plenty of little changes to keep it from getting boring so good job

@dubmikey: would give you feeback but your tune is gone?

@rhek: very nice mate, i'm a big dnb head myself and gota say that is pretty sick no criticism at all!

wizeguy - Very relaxing and i love the sounds youve got going on, the bass drum with the hh is a nice touch. havent got my headphones near me so i cant give a more in depth view sorry

kikaruu - I get its meant to be glitchy but it has no real flow to me just very stop starty, i like how you've changed it from the original and how it changes from each vs, but i dont listen to skrillex or glitch music so i cant really give any helpful advice

raincoatdisaster - I like where the snare/clap sits and the reverb on it plus i like what you have done with the vocals or what you have put behind them, its a nice effect. i look forward to hearing the rest of it.

my turn :D

Seriously though, what is so hard on learning that you give feedback to others BEFORE you post your track?
