808 influenced track need help pleasee [Feedback]

Post by andy static » Sun Apr 24, 2011 6:32 pm

Easy guys, now i made this a couple weeks ago at about 130 but the sub was too low in it for anyone to hear without a proper sub)

so i knocked it up to about 140 in audacity just for listening purpose and im wondering what the best thing to do would be

a: go back into logic and transpose it all up a few semitones so it can stay at 130 [can't really be arsed but think i probably will have to]
b: leave it at 130 running verrry deep
c: leave it as it is

also any production feedback would be sweet

Thanks, Andy

Tune has a pretty nice groove at 140, I think 130 might be a little slow to accommodate that effectively, not sure though, would need to hear it at 130 as well I think, but it sounds really cool at 140, I think it sounds pretty sweet as it is to be honest, I reckon you could just leave this one as it is. Sounds like a finished product to me, surprising since you pitched it up by 10 bpm in audacity, sometimes that can really mess with a tune, but it sounds pretty spot on to me. Is that a speak and spell being sampled? Sounds cool anyway, it's kinda sunny out here, and this is really reminding me of the tunes I used to hear in Greece as a kid, nice vibes, properly made me nostalgia.

I think it's to little dynamics in this track, can't say something about sub (listening in my headphones) but i think it's too loud or overdriveD =) Isn't it?
