Following the huge success of their collaboration for NYE 2010 that had Rhythm Factory full to the brim with party-people, and rumbling with the sound of cutting-edge beats. We are happy to announce that two of the longest running camps of the London club scene, FIZZY and TECHNICALITY, have decided to join forces once again and bring you the imaginatively titled FIZZYCALITY Bank-Holiday Special!!!
FRIDAY 29TH APRIL 10-6am @ THE RHYTHM FACTORY
16-18 Whitechapel Rd., London E1 1EW
Wills and Kate? bah! Fizzy and Technicality are are marriage made in D&B heaven. And with the mighty Audio Tactics acting as best man in the second room, this one shouldn’t be missed.. (ok that was some lame pun action but you get the jist) actually, who would be the bridemaid? whatever…anyway…. Stepping up…
KLUTE
is a dj/producer who has been integral to the scene for over 10 years now. From early releases on the classic ‘Certificate 18′ through to his own label ‘Commercial Suicide’ and ABUNCHOFCUTS.COM, he has always been known for pushing quality, forward thinking and diverse music, as well as being a DJ for the crowd and the head-nodders alike.
MACC
returns to give the evening something a bit special. He has continued to receive critical and commercial success on Labels such as Subtle Audio, Inperspective, Rephlex and Outsider with his take on drum n bass, jazz, and breakbeat music. When performing live, he gives everything and this makes for an amazing audio/visual experience. If you’ve never seen him, this really should be a performance not to be missed. If you have, make sure to catch him again.
FRACTURE & NEPTUNE
are a duo known for their diverse productions, whether it be drum & bass, dubstep or anything they put their minds to. Releases on label stalwarts of experimental beats such as Bassbin, Med School and Inperspective have helped to secure their place as an outfit that those in the know regularly draw for. With their new label Astrophonica now causing major audio damage on dancefloors and in earphones alike, 2011 is set to be a bit year for these guys and deservedly so.
EVESON
is now a household name of DnB , and in keeping with the ethos of the night is another guy who doesn’t like to be pigeon-holed. Keeping up his work-rate with a string of releases on Spearhead, CIA and Liquid V, as well as branching out into work at varying tempo’s of late. His dj sets always offer something different, but he defiantly keeps the vibe strong.
The Residents:
CHRIS INPERSPECTIVE
has been pushing boundries with his own label, Inperspective Records along with his night, TECHNICLAITY for almost 11 years now, he has had releases on labels such as EXIT and Nu-Directions, Mjazz and Immerse and is generally seen as a bit of a twat! That’s why he’s got in SENSES to play along side him, he’s a better DJ, wears oversized watches and is far better looking…..
MR JOSEPH
(or “Babyface” as he’s known in SE London) recently saw his first EP signed to the legendary V Records and recently popped into Bailey’s 1Xtra studio to showcase his studio work. All this as well as heading the crew behind FIZZY, now in their 5th year of parties. He steps up with frequent production partner ANDY SKOPES to hit the decks, Andy supports Crystal Palace, I know weird right?? who supports them any more!!?? Did P-Diddy buy them in the end??!
DJ IZZY & DR KHAN
are like the Posh and Becks of the Fizzy Camp, not sure which one is who, and come to think of it, we’re not sure if either of them are good at football or as annoying as Mrs B but that’s up to you! Without them many things wouldn’t have been possible and it’s always a joy to see them behind the decks playing their usual brand of quality music.
Last but defiantly not least comes SIMPLE CRAFT from Croatia, bringing the danger every time. You might not know the name now but look out for this guy in the future!
Talented Vocal Support as always from Blackeye Goldenchild, Cliche, Deefa
Room 2: Survival presents Audio Tactics Label Showcase
SURVIVAL of course will be stepping up to smash it down with hard, edgy beats and progressive soundscapes. Never one to be missed, he’s had dance floors jumping over Europe and the UK for the past 18 months and now it’s time to bring his sound to Whitechapel. He’s been doing some damage right now with his latest release on Audio Tactics: Spectrum / After Glow, a collaboration alongside OCTANE & DLR who will also be dropping down for a session of twisted basses and crisp, snappy beats. DNAudio and Tripleseed main man, SILENT WITNESS will be resisting the urge to play Pantera and the room will be finished off nicely by MATT IMPACT.
Quality Abound!
