You can actually breathe!
It takes minutes to get in, not hours.
Less wankers.
Less people from abroad.
Less mandy.

& line-up not quite as huge

Usually by Mala on here, a few days/a week in advance.

Might sound mental, but sometimes I prefer a less crazy line-up. Have a couple top people, instead of every single DJ. It means I can have a bit of a rest and not feel too guilty for missing anything, ya know.

That being said, I wouldn't say no to a killer line-up :6:

My mate met youngsta the other day and asked if he was playing DMZ. Apparently he gave a cheeky smile and said "i can't say." Atleast that's not a no!

What do you lot reckon on the chances of an Icicle B2B Yunx set happening?
Also, I would love to see Vivek again.

i reckon it will be yunx b2b KM if anything, to make up for the madness at the bday

altho i think icicle deserves a solo set at dmz, would fit right in. that would be pretty sick actually

Do you think Mr Freeze has put enough work in to play at DMZ? I mean as good as he is, he's pretty fresh on the Dubstep circuit. What would happen if he slapped on a cheeky 170 bit?

What's wrong with 170 stuff? DMZ's policy is simply bass music right? ESPECIALLY Icicle's bits, imagine Dreadnaught through that system. BPM's during Kode 9 v Jakes Blake weren't exactly rigid 140 at the bday bash..

No. No it was not.
Idk, i've just never heard dnb being played (main room) at DMZ. I just wonder what the DMZ crew's take on it is now seeing as they turned away from it after it went a bit pear shaped.

well instra:mental has played at dmz before and he didnt play that much 140 from what i remember. also a lot of the 140ish stuff some people play these days aint even strictly dubstep, loefah is a prime example. so it just goes to show it doesnt have to stick to completely dubstep all night at dmz anymore.

anyways i think icicles music is along the right vibes, be it 140 or 170. its nicely produced and pretty weighty, also since he just dropped an album i think it would be fitting for him to play at dmz.
