I'm rocking a pair of CDJ 800mk2's and they're perfect for that sort of thing. I got mine off ebay for about $300-$500. pioneers may be a bit expensive, but they're quality pieces of hardware.

In belgium we have to pay something like 200 dollars or so to be permitted to play copied disks. You also have to be able to show the original you copied it from and proove you bought it.

Not at all in North America, but you could make up the $200 lost when you play at a club

what if you did digital download? or ripped your vinyl to cd?

digital downloads is weird, you can only use the originals on the pc you bought it from or something. And if you rip it to cd it's the same thing, choke up tha cash.

not a bad suggestion.. I've seen these at clubs several times, and they never seem to disappoint.
I've never personally tried them, but I've seem them get the job done

Numark NDX400's are a great shout. You can scratch and loop all the usual functions. Search youtube for them theres quite a good video review for them. Cant beat it for the price imo
