Favourite mixes you've discovered? (one tune into another)

Post by rorz9992 » Sat Apr 30, 2011 10:34 pm

Hi,

Just wondering what your favourite mixes are you've discovered when mixing? It's a great feeling when you've got one track playing, pick another at random to mix into it just to see what'll happen and then by chance you've discovered an amazing mix!
Best one I've found so far is:

Delphic - Halcyon (Deadboy remix) into Kulture - Bittersweet

Sounds like it wouldn't really work on paper but does the business in the mix!

And you?

Mungo's high fi- dubplate fi dem into Synkro's- Just say.

Drop in just say and eq all but the vocals from mungo's. seriously they sound amazing together.
Two forum head's tunes that work really well together:

Legend4ry- point hill and Deesee- murder on the 2:45 (could be 3:45)

Bass on deesee's tune is very weighty.
Bass music lover since day dot.

Ohh come on. Not like anyone's gonna steal your idea and become a superstar DJ solely off the back of one mix they hadn't previously thought of or used.
If you play out, people are gonna hear them anyway!

David Lynch - I Know (Skream remix) over Kryptic Minds - Six Degrees.

Love mixing these two. And Can't Sleep with Limit To Your Love.

Another chance to post this vid:

Not my mix obviously, but still sounds insane to this day. Anyone got any decent double drops with newer tunes? Yes or No.

hhahaha sounds fire actually, jamie xx & gil scott-heron- ny is killing me --> mala- education sounds great if you drop education in when the choppy vocal bits come in from ny is killing me :W:
