Its unfortunate that it has to take something like a near death experience to put your life into perspective and make you wish you lived differently although despite knowing this guy is right I doubt many, including myself, will actually make the positive changes needed to make the most of life.

Reached the same conclusions a long while ago, and live with the same ideals. At least, as it relates to my child. Saying that without being prideful.

I honestly don't know how to raise my kid, though. I don't know how to prepare her for a world I can't reasonably anticipate, and am doing so amidst full scale cultural decay. Difficult time to parent.
