i think that inspiration should be taken from wherever it can... and as for skrillex being shit? i disagree. not my thing particularly, its like the "death metal" of dubstep, and i cant stand metal music. but certain aspects of skrillex stuff blows my mind. especially in that track "skrillex scary monsters and nice sprites", but it isnt the actual trademark bass that i like, its just the last 2 bars of every phrase that get me. unreal.
