SOUNDQUAKES presents DUB MARINE


SoundQuakes are back with the 2nd edition of their Dubstep Night. This edition is devoted completely to the deeper side of Dubstep, where it all began & will always be.

This time, we bring you two of the biggest names in the scene, hailing from Hungary: DJ MADD & MATT-U! These Hungarian madmen are massive DJ's/producers, who will definitely bring some deepness to Brussels.

They will have the company of the finest selection of Belgian DJ's who've accomplished a lot these last years.

PHONETICS will be playing at the biggest Bass festival in the world, that's right, Outlook Festival!

NASA are serving us with some of the deepest tracks in Belgian history & have recently won the Untitled! DJ-contest.

BROWNZ is one of the youngest & most promising producers of the moment.

HOAX & LECHAH, JEFF DULCET and DUBLOMAT are pushing their own skills & the SoundQuakes collective to the limit, so they can make sure SoundQuakes will be able to keep bringing you quality nights.

Hailing from Hungary, Peter Simon a.k.a. DJ Madd is without a doubt one of the greatest producers of all time! His tracks go from really deep & up-tempo to heavy reggae-inspired tunes, always with a massive bassline. His wide track selection always goes with tight mixing, so we can expect big things from this man!

Getting support from all the big names in the scene, his tracks are being played all around the world & they should be! Maybe you've heard of tracks like 'Someone', 'Another Dubplate', the remix of Major Lazers 'Hold the Line', the massive 'Numbers VIP', etc...

He has collaborated with DJ's like Von D, Matt-U, Headhunter, etc...and great producers like Kryptic Minds & Breakage have already made remixes of his tracks.

Also hailing from Hungary, Matyas Szalai a.k.a. Matt-U has made a name for himself in the Dubstepscene. In 2008 he ventured into producing Dubstep, where he soon garnered plenty of support from the scene’s leading artsists, including Skream, Mary Anne Hobbs, N-Type, Kryptic Minds, Youngsta, Distance, as well as radio support on BBC Radio1, Kiss FM.

With just as much artistic emphasis placed on his DJ sets as his production, Matt-U can truly claim to cold rock a party with his impeccable blend of beats, incorporating everything from techy rollers to deeper, darker pieces. This is one DJ who isn’t afraid to drop the right tune, at the right time to take the crowd on a very special journey.

You could describe his Dubstep as UK Bass music. That means Dubstep, Grime, UK Garage, UK Funky, Hip Hop, House and everything inbetween. The boundaries of those genres aren't really defined, which basically means that he buys and plays whatever he likes. The genre that he mixes depends on the night he plays at. He'll always play a Dubstep (and everything that comes with it) set at a Dubstep oriented party but he also enjoys to play a Funk, Hiphop, Eclectic or House set at a party with a non-UK Bass theme. One man, one immense set, no doubt about that!

Only 16 years of age & already getting the support of Belgian Dubstep-dj's like BunZer0, Dice, Science, Primate, Goldorak & Solpher, etc... spinning his tunes at gigs & radioshows.

He's a part of the Dubstep scene that's still growing bigger & bigger in Louvain, building up an enthusiastic crowd. His DJ-sets are mainly focussed on the darker & deeper side of Dubstep, but can also contain some Wobble-tunes now and then.
