Deadly is this down now? I dont want to jack your concept but I might have a friend who would host something like this for us... With your permission Ill try to get a deal arranged...
Just asking because he has his own server and hot-swap rack, think I might be able to keep any of the forum members from having to pay hosting...

I'd host it on something like Amazon S3, Huge storage capabilities, and a massive amount for free accounts

For free, I can get as much as we'd ever need, on a more personalized platform then amazons3 (that is pretty nifty though, didnt know they offered that), but, I want deadly's permission to go forward with it, this is his project really as I see it, I know I wouldnt like it if someone ran with my ideas haha.

Haven't seen or heard from dh in a while. Don't know if that is bottle related, or just due to the declining average age of the forum.

that'd be the overall decline of the board and just general disinterest in 99% of what's posted
i'll take a look at the amazon shit i guess
edit: i'd have to tie a credit card to the account, which i really don't want to do since it's bandwidth dependent and people like hotlinking things on blogs and other sites
i'll order up a prepaid debit card or credit card toss a couple bucks on it and see if amazon accepts it

why not see if Basic A can hook it up on his friend's server? then no one would (potentially) have to pay for any bandwidth
