Hello Dubsteppers!

I'll go by the name of monastereo. The first time I heard dubstep was when I was around 12 or 13. There was this DJ giving us lessons about how to mix music with turntables and he only had dubstep/dnb/jungle music. I'm 18 right now and the guy who gave the lessons is the dutch DJ osiris. Maybe you know him? Anyways, ever since I was hooked to the music. Problem was I didn't have money to buy anything :\ Right now I'm older and I still want to get in the DJ business : ) So that's why I'm here!

I hope I'll be able to learn some stuff and meet nice people!
cheers

Hey guys, just started producing a short while ago and really like it. Especially making the vibe when I'm high as a kite and mastering it after that, it's really a fun process.

Ello All!

Just a quick hello! My names Matt, I'm 23 and have been involved in production for about 6 years. I've taken a back seat in production in the last year (due to work commitments!) I run a small group called Dubstep Terrace, that promotes up and coming dubstep producers. I'm also working on a lot of networking to build a massive YouTube channel, where I will promote new artists, for FREE!

Already had a quick browse and I see there is a lot of talented guys here!

Cya 'round!

Hello, I am new to dubstep. I don't know anything about production but I want to learn everything. I'm running a macbook with reason, I also have ableton lite. Oh and I just picked up a Mpk25. Where do I start? I have never really used production software before.

Coming into the game fairly fresh, I am learning as I go. Music is a passion, and when you're good at it, you're good at all of it. I am making this album with intentions of having it flow from front to back seamlessly, and maintain a dark and sinister feel. A story lies behind these tracks, and the order of them. From song one, to the last song, is a progression of dubstep knowledge and skill, as the further into the album you get, the further into my experience levels you get. I was told of dubstep not too long ago. How I hadn't heard of this music is beyond me. I fell instantly in love after only two songs, and there began the dark journey of Deamon Dubstep! I now obsess with bass, dubstep, dnb, and anything electronic. I plan on pressing some t-shirts and hats, printing CD's, getting some turntables, and start practicing some live gigs!

I've joined this forum in hopes of joining the Dubstep community, working alongside the artists and DJ's, learn everything I can and make Dubstep my career, and not just an obsessive hobby. I am an outside of the box thinker, and don't like to be like anyone else, I'm doing my own style, and am not mimicking any artists. (I feel that's a cop out)

I'm a natural musician. I can play any instrument well, just give me an hour to mess around with it, and I'll get good quick. I was in a hard rock band for 6 years playing bass, and I was obscure and aggressive. Basically beat my bass to death! You can watch the old me here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uoj1vQGi4NM
I have a Macbook, and once acquiring Logic Express, I started making all sorts of music digitally. I don't own any instruments any more, which is depressing for a man of music. So, Logic has saved me in a sense. Now however, I've been craving the stage. I sure miss that. But I don't want to be in a band again, depending on other drug addicted people to hold the music together. I feel I can only depend on myself. This is why Dubstep is so perfect for me. The "stomp your face" grooves, the unlimited bass overloads, and subwoofer manipulation are right up my alley! Plus I can use my Mac on stage?! OK! :) I'm hooked, I'm started, and I'm not stopping.

So I'm here to spread my name, spread my music, grow my knowledge and meet as many people in the Dubstep professional world as possible. Like UKF, or radio hosts, or others who want to collaborate.

I have many social sites, and I'm now working on a website on Webs.com, where I'm going to provide the ability to link other artists and hopefully other networks together.

If you enjoy Deamon Dubstep, please visit the You Tube Channel, and click like on each song you enjoy! The more "likes" on youtube, the closer to the top of the search page your video gets. So 20 likes and thousands more people will come across Deamon Dubstep! Please show support! (That's right, I don't want your money, just your thumbs up on You Tube!)

If you have links to Dubstep Artists on You Tube, please feel free to link me to their channel, I'm constantly listening to dubstep now, and am always looking for the next sick drop! It's not all about me, I wanna hear the good ****!!! I know there's lots here, but I'm obsessed. ;)

Thank you everyone for reading, here's a link to Deamon Dubstep on the social networks! LIKE -SUBSCRIBE- FREIND-SHARE!

Right I've been on here a while but never really introduced myself, name's Adam, 16 from Ireland, started listening to dubstep two years ago and I'm in to a lot of types of it, hope to start DJing or producing soon. There's hardly any other dubstep fans my age here, unless they listen to the unlistenable shite like Skrillex or Modestep. Hoping in the future to help dubstep become popular in Ireland, chart music dominates everything here and the majority of people don't take the time to listen to anything apart from it. As a result, their music taste is now filtered with complete shite.

:Q:

Hey - this is Lysergene from Birmingham, UK. I spend all of my spare time producing deep bass music at 140 BPM, sometimes slower for extra depth.

I've released a couple of tracks with Area Recordings (wicked label - big up Be-1ne!).

I like to keep it dark and atmospheric and I trye to experiment with new approaches to this style, here are a couple of examples of some newer tracks. Check em out and leave feedback if you want :)
