Saigon - Bring Me Down (Asylar Dubstep Remix)

Post by Asylar » Wed May 04, 2011 8:16 am

Hey you, whoever reads this. I just finished making a track and I wanted to share it here for feedback. I got really great criticism on my last track and since then I've learned to control a lot of things a bit better.
I've been producing music for 2 years now but this is my SECOND dubstep track. You don't have to go easy on me though.

Stuff I wanna know includes:
-How is the sound quality?
-Did you like the melodies/wobble automations/synth sounds/samples?
-What do you Think I should know technically/musically when I'm producing my next track?
...or if something else comes to mind I'm happy to know

If you've made it this far on my wall of text and decide to take a listen, thank you very much :)

bout the track not vocals....i would say EITHER the enitre track is WAY too compressed or some of the elements are too compressed, so much so i cant really comment much as all the nuance is lost.... the dynamic range is really small in this so either it is to compressed or it has been eq'd way too flat...i do like your drum patterns though, but the sounds are very traditional....i think this is ok though man although way too crunched....i think your automations are nice as well, but then anything goes really....

Yeah. I think I ran it through a maximizer twice by accident. Didn't really notice how brickwalled it was until i saw the wave pattern after the submission. I should probably mention that I have low-budget headphones :D Thanks for the feedback.

I should probably mention that this song is a submission to an ongoing contest
