My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

Haven't been to dmz in over a year, wanted to go to this but funds have been low. What I wanna know is how was Silkie's set? He was meant to be showcasing 'City Limits 2'.
Also what was the line up?

Silkie was really good as is to be expected. LD fucking smashed it though! Bit of a bastard that Mala got stuck in Belgium, is that the first DMZ he's missed?

LD was insane, really enjoyed it. Silkie's set was quality too. Didn't get there for the opening set (Shiverz?), so can't comment. Wasn't impressed with Jakes, his first three tunes were decent, then the rest of the set followed the same and it wasn't really doing anything for me.

Woah that was pretty insane. Gutted I missed Lost, but LD was solid, thoroughly enjoyed loefah. And silkie was a badman. what an awesome place to have it as well, though those stairs were a bit buzzy

I personally thought shiverz was a badman on the mixer, crossfading bizzness was sick! Big debut! Silkies set was very nice, and jakes opened up with that new version of jokers 'vision' with the singing on it, not a fan Personally :/

Did Coki still play or was Digital Mystikz just a no show? Gutted for the peeps who didn't get to catch Mala!

I am curious to know if this is the first DMZ he's missed too, sucks!!

Yeah, I get a bit into my dancing sometimes. At least a couple of times last night I was aware of a circle of space forming around me on the dancefloor when I was going for it :lol: :lol:

Made it to this with some friends. As a first DMZ experience it was solidly amazing! :D

First got in during Shiverz set, seemed a bit meh, so left for a bit of food. Came back for LD. He smashed it.

Didn't know what to expect from Jakes, never been into his sound loads, but it was ok. Had a sit down in room 2 while he was playing.

Just Coki repping for Digital Mystikz. Was really disappointed when I saw Mala wouldn't be making it, and to a degree I still am. BUT that considered - Coki dropped more balanced stuff than I've seen him do before.So I was happy! :4:

Loefah b2b with Hijak finally. Really liked this one! Started with Loe's 'new sound' stuff, but it gradually changed to 140 stuff, then in the last hour jungle and hardcore... :lol: Quality though!

Pokes and Crazy D hosting were cool as usual.

There did seem to be a few clueless drugged up people, but it's hard to avoid nowadays. Nothing too bad. Crowd in general was a revelation to me!

Highlights -
Hearing Eyez VIP twice in one night ;
Coki making up for Mala not being there with A Town Called Obsolete and Harvest (<<< :h: ) plus getting out his less tearout stuff (Soundboy! :corndance: ) ;
Loefah dropping some of his classics (Goat Stare, I remix, Ruffage) - which I didn't know he really did anymore...

Overall - soooo bloody good. I'd been meaning to make the trip before, but now I've tasted it, will surely have to make the Summer installment! :Q:
...deep in your chest...

FFFFFFUUUUUUU.... I must have been in the smoking area!
IDK, last night was a bit of a weird one imo. Was a bit, dare I say, meh.
Still had a good time and all that, it just seemed to me the night had no fluidity to it. A lot of stopping and starting - like bad sex.
