ITT: Many people judging mixers they obviously haven't used extensively

If you are in the position to play out a lot having a 500/600 is a no brainer buy. It just makes sense to play a home with what you're playing out with on a weekly basis. Doesn't make sense to crutch on the ranges and effects of another mixer only to show up and not have those at your disposal.

If you're looking for a studio mixer a xone 64/92 are fantastic. I bought a 64 6 years ago and have replaced one fader, nothing else on it.

If you're really wanting pristine quality the Rane MP series is by far the best mixer (s) i've played on. MP44 is the best mixer I've ever played on. Better than a 92, Better than an SVM-1000, better than a sixty-eight.

i had to just cue one on one monitor, it was hard as well because the monitor was duff. yeah actually that was a fuckery gig, maybe you can sort it with more inspection but i didn't find it.. cueing the mix is kinda essential when the monitors are dead.. or it's bare loud

I am a Rane man myself, the sound and eq's are quality. I have extensive experience on all of these mixers (except for the Eclers) and my order of preference would be:

1. Rane
2. A&H
3. Pioneer (these are very standard in the clubs in the US, def a good idea being comfortable on one. With that said, the eq's are shit).

Couldn't play my gig because of a Pioneer mixer yesterday. So A&H, Rane, Ecler.

If I was stupidly rich I would love to have a Rane 68. Unfortunately, I'm not, and my current aim is a Xone:32.
A 42 would be fine too but it's way more expensive plus I don't need a 4th channel.

Currently I'm stuck with a Behringer DX626, which, except for the Low EQ, isn't that bad.

you won't like it.. it's an FX driven mixer.. but the shit it can do NOTHING else can do

you can change the EQs from being a normal EQ, to an isolator EQ or a fucking filter EQ.. that's gonna be fun..
