Some classics from a few months back...
"Have you got anything faster?"
"Have you got any Lady GaGa?"
There were a few more requests of equal stupidity, but I've pushed them so far back in my mind through utter disgust that I can't remember them.
I did once get asked to play 'The Knowledge' by Toasty many years back when I played in Bristol one time though...

Some guys threatened me if i wouldn't let them play one of their tracks... Then i told them that i would get the guards if they didn't get the fuck off the stage - That worked. Fucking hell, where are people's respect for the DJ? But a part from that it was the best set i have ever played.

Told some chick 'bitch. be cool' after she told me it was my responsibility to take requests as a dj.. I played a lada gaga tune ON VINYL after she requested some (all I had with me was wax) and was still told it was shit.. no pleasing these people.

The other day I typed ''horror show'' on my phone while Coki was playing, held it up to the stage but he didn't see it. Then I wrote it on some piece of paper, gave it to the MC on stage and he gave it to Coki. Coki laughed when he read it but he just didn't play the tune...
I have never heard Horror Show on an actual system

when i went to see digital mystikz play i was asking for gypsy skank.mala just pointed at the two big boxs of vinyl they had and said ''man,i would but i wouldnt be able to find it''.not surprising, the boxes were huggeeeeee and basically all dubplates
they must have had the set roughly planned out?

I was recording a set on the promoter/ DJ's camera at a dubstep night in Cambs on NYE. His style is dungeon/industrial, KM, Distance etc etc. This girl comes up (and this has pretty much been said 10 times in this thread already but hey ho)
Her "Has he got any real dubstep?"
Me "Excuse me? This is real dubstep"
Her "You know, Datsik blah blah blah"
Me "He definitley doesn't have any of that"
Her "He must have. My boyfriends been a dubstep DJ for 3 years and all hes got is Doctor P, Datsik etc."
Me "I feel sorry for him and his ears"
Her "Sorry what?"
Me "Have you ever heard of Mala?"
Her "NO"
Me "Please leave..............."

Not so much a request here, but i played a set at a friends bday party. Most of the guests are into house more (but theyll get down to some dubstep or dnb). Anyways, finished my set, which always consists of a heavy dose of Deep Medi, Black Box Clever, Swamp, Tectonic, etc. first thing i get asked....
"Do you ever play any UK dubstep?"
uh.....what? Dont talk to me.

I've had ppl yell '' play something faster '' when the night/poster clearly states dubstep night
Also played a shitty as local night out of town not long ago and the first person to show up on the dance floor yelled '' play some mt eden dick '' so i put on Distance - Tuning, went down rather well..he pissed off. Also ppl writing stuff on there cellphones and trying to throw it in your face when your mixing is a laugh
finally, had the owner of a club once tell everyone that was playing that he didn't want anything heavy, so know one played anything heavy and he comes up a few hours later and tells everyone that we're clearing out the place and to stop playing ''boring mellow shit''
