The Tony Hawks soundtracks also get a shout out from me, they got me into hip hop aged 12.

dun know..tony hawks soundtrack shaped my childhood
Totally. I'd say I probably own at least one album by 50% of the bands on Tony Hawks 4, Underground and Underground 2 (despite underground 2 being shite).

I used to listen to Radio los Santos on the first island, the old school hiphop radiostation for second island then Master sounds for the third, then k-jah for the countryside LOL

The music on all three games is well selected. Would love another Vice city or San Andreas for ps3

So many memories of GTA/Tony Hawks sountracks.

Who hasn't waited through most of the v-rock playlist for 'raining blood' to come on so they can frantically drive up and down the highway mowing down gang members.

6 stars driving around in an old banger with Four Little Diamonds on.

Or when you have to go save Lance and Run to you by Brian Adams comes on. Too much.

I need to buy another ps2.

This is a brilliant idea. All the games you ever loved, the same enjoyment, but they're all like 3 quid this time round.

Check my "Zoned" mix out. Different sound, like an hour of Kalawanji, but this is what I'm all about these days. http://dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=185968

Do it! I've been stocking up on PS2 games from eBay, I've got about 90 so far and I don't think I paid more than £3 for any of them. Got Metal Gear Solid 3 for about £2 from a market near me 8)

edit: in fact, does anybody want to sell me Libery City Stories for PS2? I've got every GTA except this one, its driving me nuts, can't find it anywhere!

Anyone else find themselves listening to K Rose a lot?

I know the lyrics to most of those songs by now.

The country girl disk jockey was bat shit crazy too.

the better soundtracks were the midnight club ones imo. Rockstars best compilation was Midnight Club 3.

They had this in stock, brand new, sometime last year for £18. I was thinking of picking it up but never got round to it. Kicking myself now.
