Post by dj phonetic » Mon Apr 30, 2007 12:51 pm

What cd-player do i have to buy best with a budget around 400-500 euro or 250-300 pounds?

I was thinking of getting something like a Stanton C.314....

I want to be able to scratch. So i want a big "jog?" wheel.

thx

ive got a pioneer cdj 800.... I prefer it over the 1000... I swear the response is better on it. The pioneer 800 and 1000 are industry standard as far as cd decks go. I got mine for $400 CDN. if you search you can find them used for cheap.

I have done a lot of research lately, and if I were to buy one today for that price, it would be the Denon DNS1000, no doubt.

my m8 has one n there wank, the platter is basically useless as it has no torque, and the pitch isn't that accurate.

Pioneer DVJ-1000 one and only wouldn't buy it personly but I wouldn't mix on any other CD/ DVD player.

I would buy Serato for sure best and in some years dj no.1 I bet. tons of tracks in just one laptop

mixing with cd's is no fun
