Saw James Blake DJ last night...

He was big, and also big in a tall way.

Thought the set was properly creative. His productions made even more sense after hearing them played on a decent system. I'd only ever really listened on headphones and when I've played them out to people that just look confused when you play stuff like that, so was good to see people properly dancing to that stuff.

Couple of tunes that stood out for me (there were a ton I don't know but sounded incredible):
James Blake - Saying (is this coming out? It's addictive!)
Blawan - Fram
Peverelist - Roll with the punches (harmonimix)
Also heard a tune that had a sample saying "his majesty king selassie I" before the drop. Know what that might be?

Can be hit&miss though. Turned up to play brighton after joy orbison 40 mins late and played a pretty awful set yet when he went b2b with kode9 at dmz he was quality

Saw him live in Portland last night. Fantastic show, really great speakers and the crowd was having a good time. Seems like a really humble guy
