[Albany, NY] 05.20.2011 - Enigma @ Jillian's of Albany

Post by Indigenous » Sun May 08, 2011 6:10 pm

This is the fourth event being thrown by Vúdoo Productions. The thread I made for their previous event (Evolution: A Cosmic Event) got deleted for some reason, not enough dubstep in the lineup I suppose, but there was dubstep playing for about half the duration of the show. -q- There's definitely going to be dubstep at this one too. The Dark Flow and Foges are the only ones I know for sure will be playing dubstep (so far).

If this one gets deleted as well, please tell me why so it doesn't happen again. Thanks.

The "Outer Limits", "Inner Sanctum", and "Under the Stars" are the three stages, each of which will be playing music throughout the event.

~FM RADIO GODS LIVE (with special Audio/Visual Show)-Montreal,Canada
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xw851HyF0GU (2 min. mark is insane:)

FM Radio Gods is Andrew Hamilton and Tao-Nhan Nguyen, originating from Montreal, Canada. Since their debut in 2006, they have become known as true heavyweight producers - always ready to deliver a powerfully-dynamic live act. Incorporating everything from minimal house to glitchy electro, the Montreal duo has come a long way and is not showing any signs of letting up.
2007 saw the first wave of releases on such labels as Iboga and Blue Tunes. It did not take long for original tracks like "Freeflow" to climb past the top 50 on Beatport's progressive house network. This same year, FM brought Attitude Recordings into existence acting as the labels directional driving force.
2008 gave way to a frenzy of releases on labels such as Tribal Vision and Plastik Park, including a slew of collaborations with artists in the likes of Motion, Beauty and the Beat, Antix and True Lies. The year came to a
close with a 1st prize victory in the national Roland synthesizer.
2009 opened with a North American booking contract with Akarien booking management followed by releases on
Baroque Records (featuring a remix by Tobias Lutzenkirchen), Tribal Vision (featuring a remix by Presslaboys) and of course, Attitude Recordings (featuring remix cooperations with Swedish act Ticon). The yearclosed with a tour throughout Mexico, USA and Canada.
2010 is marked by the release of their first album in collaboration with UK legends "Bomb The Bass" (to be released on !K7 Records in June 2010). Other artists involved in the project include Gui Boratto, Extrawelt and
Martin Gore (Depeche Mode). FM is also set to release a series of EPs on Baroque, Plastic Park and Tribal Vision with remixes by D-Nox & Beckers, Beckers & Hatfield and Brisker & Magitman.
On Stage
True to the concept of live performance, FM distance themselves from the conventional laptop producer. On stage they're loaded to the brim with an arsenal of distinctive controllers including a JazzMutant Lemur and
Monome 256. Completing the setup is a real time video feed that leaves the audience in awe as they're engulfed by the action.

You may sway, you may dance, you may lean back and let it wash over you, but you will not sit down. Dirty Paris puts you on your feet and keeps you there.
Taking influence from 70′s Progressive Rock, Cool Jazz, Trance, and Indian Classical music, Dirty Paris has found their own unique stylistic blend. All four musicians dedicate all hours of the day for the purpose of building their psychedelic city of sound.
