I play guitar to a reasonably high standard and it seems to make no difference-apart from stage fright lol. I do get into stuff more and let myself drift into the music (which can be dangerous if you get lost). Drink is a different story but weed effects everyone differently. I know people who can smoke huge amounts and then go to work but I also know others who have suffered drug induced psychosis from doing the same.... swings and roundabouts man.

yeah i think its all down to how you react to being stoned; some people can function normally after smoking and some cant. i personally find it difficult to move.

I get insanely twitchy off a lot of weed. Can't even put the needles on properly because of it.

when i smoke i can get them beatmatched perfectly in the headphones but when i bring the channel in they just seem miles off and its just impossible to get them to sit perfectly..its hard to describe but its a headfuck

ive moved my decks into the kitchen for this week though and its a pretty big kitchen and the speakers are on the laminate floor and it sounds so so so different to what it sounds like in my room so i think it may have something to do with that

All I do when stoned is clean my room, thinking "corr its too untidy to enjoy being stoned!"
Sober up by the time I'm finished.
Spark another, so's I can enjoy my nice tidy room.
Room is suddenly incredibly messy!

Repeat ad infinitum.
My name is Dom and I like making ambientish music and drinking tea. Nice to meet you.

i can't do anything good when i'm stoned: snowboarding, mixing, etc
there is one thing what i can do good when i'm stoned and that is playing poker.
It's about dropping a track at the wrong speed, and it sounding better than the real thing.

I've really only been mixing a couple months now, but if I smoke before hand I always end up playing dungeony stuff and sometimes I get so into it that I forget I'm mixing all together and play an entire song without bass or treble, usually playing the song out...

i tend to get way too into the mix like wobbles said, shit like accidently leave the flange effect on for half a track because it sounds so nice when your leng, or lowering the mids/highs right down so its just a track of deep bass aha

This. It can sometimes be IMPOSSIBLE to beat match 2 songs with the exact same tempo and other times It'll be so beautiful I can't help but dance around in my room alone. Mixing doubletime and halftime stuff that's shuffled while high can have amazing results sometimes
