This one has to come extremely close to what you're looking for. Big tune.

There's a whole Kode 9 mix and article about sinogrime available at lower end spasm. I think you'll find everything there quite satisfactory.
"At our dance, no one's watching anyone really. They're just there in their own space having a good time... It's not like an old rave where everyone wants to come and hug you and be your friend. There's no moodiness. Not in our dance... It's just purely sound."

Kode 9 - 9 Samurai.. probably the first ever japanese dubstep track (samples the theme tune from seven samurai)

Also, i'm currentlyt making an album heavily inspired by Japan

Maybe not strictly Japanese but it does have 'Bushido' as the title...

I may be alone in this, but ever since I heard D1 - Baboo I always felt that could be played over a Miike film scene quite nicely. Not the overtly homo ones like DOA, well maybe some of the violent scenes I suppose, but more along the lines of Izu or even Ichi. Maybe even Ju-san.

DJ Shadow and Goth-trad, this thread/topic is beckoning!

All I have to say is the Shamisen is a highly underrated instrument, I'm absolutely void of any instrumental talent, but I will learn to play a few modest renditions before I die.
