Slime is back in attack with another slice of aural action that will melt your brain and pop your collar. Coming at you with yet another fresh debut, we welcome Russian producer Partyson to the label. With a highly potent strain of upfront dubstep dipped in the raw juices of rave culture, Partyson’s style is aimed squarely at the dancefloor and this EP is a testament to a cross-genre sound that will take over the world and break the Internet in half.
'Wobble Gum' doesn’t want to creep up on you like a ninja and surprise you with a little tickle of your sweaty undercarriage. No. This tune wants to roll into your town on a unicorn-shaped sonic tank and fire a wave of pure bass pressure so powerful it demolishes your house, sets fire to your mother’s wig collection and turns your pet goldfish Geoff into a little pile of orange dust. Believe!
'Miss U' reminds you that yes, you did sometimes dance to commerical trance records in front of the mirror and that yes, whilst a grown man probably wouldnt want to be caught gyrating to Tiesto tunes in his underwear, it is nice to be able to listen to a manly dubstep track like this out in public and hate on it’s sweet-as-fuck trance elements to your friends, but then make your excuses and have a little sexy boogie to it in the club’s toilet cubicles. It’s not as if anybody’s watching. Except the dude who sells tiny bottles of aftershave in there.
'Watch Me' drops the massive melody hammer on your knackers in a way that is reminiscent of a grand piano being thrown at a pair of slightly ripe satsumas. If this doesn’t get you pulling on a pair of fluffy boots and raving on a podium like it’s 1992 all over again then you’re probably not off your tits on pills right now. Or maybe still in the frozen meats section of Tesco.
For the final track, Russian maverick Ruslan Flash drops a wonky fidget mix of ‘Wobble Gum’ that is so toxic it should come equipped with a health warning. When applied to a suitably lubricated dancefloor it will cause ravers’ internal organs to cook like a Rustlers microwave burger and slowly ooze out of their eyesockets like ecstasy-flavoured pate. You know, just like that dude in Raiders Of The Lost Ark. FACEMELT!
