Actually laughable when u know the organisers, humble and modest.

dont get caught up in the hater hype. wether everyone agrees or disagrees, the event will still take place and people will win awards (actual shiny ones too)

All we can do is try and make it a success by doin our bit and hope that justice will be done, for the sake of Dubstep.

So then, who are these mystical organisers? If they're such good promoters, then surely they won't mind us knowing who they are and what events they run, right?

I'm not getting caught up in any "hater hype" either. Heads have asked questions that aren't getting answered or they are being directly skirted around. You can see why people including me are getting increasingly suspicious of this event. Thats all it is man.

Actually going to retract a few things about what I've said. Had one of the organisers pop up on AIM(the one who fronts the account on here) and he seems to know what he is doing in regards to putting big raves on.

I was told they've agreed between themselves to take a tiny profit each amounting to the same sum as one of their headliners and that a full announcement will be made over the coming days as to who/what/where etc.

Why is everyone so quick to shoot this down? I personally think this a great idea as long as skrillexs name isn't mentioned once. This is a great way to promote upcoming artists.

I think the majority of 'dubstep' you hear nowadays is just pop with a heavier bassline. Genuinely not interested in going to an awards show for a genre of music that's been hijacked by everyone and their mother. I'd much rather go to DMZ or FWD anyway, birminghams been done out

This has been discussed over and over, but please stop taking people on here for mindless haters. Dubstep has been evolving since the day it was born and the evolution was never hated on. Did we hate on Ramadanman when he put out Blimey ? On Peverelist ? On Appleblim ? On 2562 ? On Nightslugs, on Swamp81 ? No off course not, well they are evolutions aren't they ? If I (not to say we) hate on THAT form of evolution it's because it sounds like SHIT. IMO.

On the topic now, I'm still interested to see what these guys are going to do, should be interesting
