Heading out to see Old Apparatus in Brighton tonight, is this only their second show after the one at ICA in London?
Did anyone make it to that? I'm not sure what to expect, looking forward to it though!

Saw em last night, such a good show!
Got proper immersed in it. The visuals were well impressive too.
Was chattin to one of the guys, he was sound. Said they have more stuff incoming on deep medi... but it'll be a while. Also the shows they are doing now will be your last chance to see em doing what they're doing, they're gonna change it soon, play different material.
Managed to get number one of the numbered art prints
Defo catch these guys if u can!

I was there at the Brighton show too. Really amazing stuff!
The visuals were brilliant and of course the music was sublime.
Anyone considering it, go see them! Stunning!

excellent- ill post after I see them tonight.
I think they are 'nobodies' (so to speak), just think people seem to always assume mysterious acts as big names. Unless I'm completely incorrect, zomby and burial meet mid-stage and physically come together to from the 'old apparatus'.

Hahaha.
No but I agree, I also think that they are no familiar names from the scene, would just be interesting to know if we know them already or not.

Really early curfew at the church tonight, we're on at 7.45 and the night ends at 10. No bar either so make sure you get tanked up beforehand or join us for some street beers outside
Bigup!

Let me paint a picture for you folks...
Lights go down, st Pancras church fills with smoke. A coffin is rolled out on to stage by two hooded men. They step away and the coffin opens to reveal Lady Gaga, Chevy Chase, and Burial.
Old App were fucking incredible. They are something that I often feel the bass music scene is lacking and that is live shows (actually live, not dj'd). Lots of new tunes which sounded great. A few of them were quite vocal heavy but sounded great. Visuals were immense also. And to top everything off it was in a huge church so the ambiance was perfect. Will be interested to see how things play out for these guys as on one hand they fit in the bass music world, but the also fit nicely into the more noisy/ambient/soundscape world.
Not that its relevant but for the record its just 3 normal 'nobodies'
BIG UP!

jyro, they might not be previously known big names in the bass scene, but to call them nobodies is to be honest, pretty rude, especially considering they're on the forum as well

I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant that way.
But people were speculating that some pretty well known people were involved.

Relax fellas, I was just poking fun at the fact that people even give a shit about who they are. Hence my use of apostrophe marks. I thought that would have been obvious from the gushing praise that preceded that statement.
I really cant wait until they put out these new tunes. So fucking good.
