Camp Bisco

Post by inDistinkt » Fri May 13, 2011 8:27 am

Any stateside ninjas going to Bisco this year. The line up isn't so great, but still gonna have a ton of fun camping out with a few of my good friends for 3 days.
Some names I was actually happy about seeing were SBTRKT, Tokimonsta, Run DMT,Shpongle live, Ratatat, and Four Tet.

Just wondering if theres gonna be any good dubstep and house music there at all. The line up is like 75% brostep so I was hoping there'd still be a good amount of heads there who are deeper into the music than the "melt your face off" masses.

Joe Nice was there 2 years ago. Martyn too iirc. People are saying they still have a 3rd round lineup to release, so I'm hoping for at least a few more talented names.

been to the past 5, just not sure if i have it in me this time around. It could just be me, but the demographics and talent seem to get worse as the years go on.

Ya 100% hoping on the DubWar crew or at least Nice to go. Festivals are always a great time, an none of my friends could give 2 shits about good music, but I'll be so much happier if I can see at least a few more acts there that I'm actually into.

Ya I see you posting here a lot so I was excited to see RunDMT on the lineup. I'm gonna be cathin your set for sure man. I've heard some of your older Dubstep under Parson, which was dope, but I dont know much about RunDMT. I'm going to have to look some of your tunes up, what type of set exactly do you think you'll be playing at Bisco?

Ya Skrillex seems to be everywhere this summer. To be fair, as much as I dont like Bassnectars tunes, I can easily deal with one of his sets and still have a good time.

But I really dont think I'll be into seeing Skrillex play. In fact I really hope someone good is playing during his set so I dont feel compelled to go to skrill with my friends. :corntard:

rundmt sounds like this https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/con ... 86-index=1
presently number 5 on the dnb chart, and 7 and 24 on the dubstep chart on beatport.
