Post by Jcham » Tue May 24, 2011 9:07 am

Yeah I havent bought any packs on ableton yet, only bought shitty free ones >.< So there isnt too much variation in the song :( This tune is pretty much all free packs and built in packs, only just started getting into audio effects and stuff, pretty new to actually producing music :P
Youre songs are awesome btw, first ones heavy as hell :D what did you make them with?

Oh btw, the drums are pretty overpowering compared to the bass without headphones or nice speakers, so dont listen to it raw from a laptop or something :P
Need moar bass

no haters? :P wimp.

nah in all seriousness not bad for a first shot at ableton.

i also use ableton... my advice is dont use the live packs... tons of free vst's and samples out there that sound much better.

wrong. not about what you use - it's about how you use it!

Good stuff for your first time in Ableton. I also just got ableton and have been playing with it for a couple weeks. In my noob opinion I'd also recommend not using live packs and instead getting Sylenth. It's pretty great. This is what I came up with for my first track. Let me know what you think?

I made every sound in it with sylenth. Drums and all. Pretty proud of it for my first time producing.
