Yeah, wasn't feeling as much as usual due to system...

Sounded like some sketchy limiting making the bass knock out the highs. I'm no engineer though.

Big up to some dutty skippy offkilt bizniz dropped by Distance (and Mala?). The Pinch sound perhaps?

YES!!! What was that? Wicked Dabrye/Dilla thing going on in that tune.

Big night, but gutted about the sound especially during DMZ set with Malas amazing tunes being almost ruined by the technicals. How big was those 3-4 last tunes!! Great to hear Miracles+City Cycle+Unexpected, but what was that vocal tune (3 last I think). DEEP!!!

but Loafah seemed to pull it through with heavy drops. What was first tune he played - Flowdan on vocals I think (not Jah War)?

Still a big night!

Can anyone say Hatcha/Mighty Moe, big smiles all over the place.

Brought down a few Dubstep/Dmz virgins,
they were loving it, comment of the night

...what is this bass music? it is missing some beats, but i love it, we talk later...then he turned and faced the sub and shocked out.

Boom, dont forget about the toon, some geordie dubstep ish.

I think it was wicked to see Heartless buss it up. Moe is one of the best mc's in the game - and we all know the hype they bring. DMZ came alive...
it was like when hyper used to touch mike back in the day...that first lyric and everyone wud be tuned in...
or maybe i was too lean. LOL.

finally risen from my pit, think i've clocked about 22 hours kip since dmz, not bad seeing as i was surviving about 9 hours total since tuesday :D

system problems aside it was great night for me - if anything i think a fully functional system would have ended it prematurely for me, was completely bassed out after the last week! was all about saving myself for the anti-social debut at the end, had to keep things ticking over to go full throttle for the last hour and a half :D

really enjoyed appleblims selection, got things off to a good start! missed moat of distance some how amd managed to lose a few hours somewhere in the middle, probably something to do with having to buy 4 drinks each time i went to the bar cus I had to use a card! :v:

photo's coming soon!

Nah Im pretty sure it was a "proper" dubstep tune, but it just had that dabrye/dilla feel to it.

U KNOW THIS! This tune is abolsutely sickle cell!!! Without a doubt - tune of the night for me. I thought it might have been by Lo when I heard it, but asked him and he says it Mala's. Anyone recognize the vocal or is it orig?

As for it as a whole.. an absolutely massive night that I had no chance of dragging myself away early from.... ended up only getting 2hrs sleep b4 having to scoot up to Notts to help set up there at Detonate. :-/

You can bet all you money that the vibe at DMZ there is going to be spesh. - As much as I like the big DMZ bashes (Christmas / Bday / Blazedown...) Ones like Sat just give you that extra bit of space to shock out in. Perfect.

wicked night- i think i pee'd off the soundman by keepin on at him to turn it up
Big up the Bristol soldiers on their first DMZ, my man Dowee rocking a suit in there, Grand, Darkside, Hatch, Rust, Pokes (bigging up the duty-free blazers! 8) ), Milly, Boomy, Hopper.. everyone i bumped into whilst licked off, and who's names i forgot!
JD & Coke + Zoot + Dubstep= the win!

Good sets from all involved, Hatcha and the Mystikz/Loefah urkled it the most, and the visit of Mighty Moe was so hype!!
Good room to skank aswell, by yeah system was low, not DMZ like, i spent alot of the second half of the night with my back against the speakers trying to take in some bass!

Big up Anti Social with some vibes, i didnt know 6am had arrived! Benga chucked out his lively style for an hour, and Apple and Distance were big, although more volume was needed for me meditation!

Looking forward to the next one, but i also think its about time i reached me first Leeds DMZ when it next comes around!

the one with the sort of electro/indie type vocal?! and the big grimy synths? madness if thats mala. maybe the system confused it all

all about that second tune Mala played, what a deep one. and Miracles (FAR TOO DEEP). and City Cycles. 2nd drop of Bury The Bwoy still completely devastates it too

and the Alicia Keys remix! that one needs a white label

and Loefah's vocal tracks are very very big, the most overt Warrior Queen lyric yet! and that new collabo with Flo Dan

and that big, dirty electro Coki track :x that one kicks the hinges off

to be fair, that was one of my favourite dubstep sets for a long time
