I have to agree. Somehow, someway this thing get used on almost every track. It's all a cool FX unit. Had one... thought it had a boring timbre. Just me though plenty of people love it. Tried to like it couldn't. THought there was this crappy grainy sheeny quality to it but the depth of tone wasn't there.
For the price you might pick up a second hand Juno 106 or Juno Alpha. Just me though I know people love it....

i've used both, but when it came down to it, the microkorg is so much more compact and although it has much less presets, it contains the same engine as the big bro version and is capable of all the same noises if you know how to get them out of it. thats why i got one.ramadanman wrote:i think the korg MS2000 is a better deal
