Does anyone know any good Garage producers from abroad? I'm writing a piece for my blog about the second coming of garage an its new international audience. So far I've got Falty DL (USA), Submerse (Japan) and Lando Kal (Germany). Any help would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. You can check out the blog here (http://privateerblog.tumblr.com/), promise you won't regret it!

Re: International Garage Artists
Shit, are you sure? I'd been trying to find out if he was Japanese or British and getting different answers from various sources, probably a lot of confusion since his stuff is pretty similar to the whole J-garage thing anime samples and all that jazz. Kinda throws a spanner in the works... Yeah I've got a few more lined up like Ike Release (Berlin/Chicago) & Dubbeldutch (Texas, which is just weird...). Lostlojic is a good Ukranian one but the problem with most of the ones I find is that they're either guys who were making garage in the 90's and never stopped or they're just now defunct and I'm trying to feature new guys who are picking up where things were left off in the early 00's... oh well...

Re: International Garage Artists
Rob Submerse did some releases on L2S alongside meself. Check the label dude!
Also, it depends whether you're on about the swung 2 Step Garage or Garage as in 4x4 based music?
There are loads mate if you look, here's a few names that need coverage (I'm not gonna go for the obvious names because there's enough coverage on them anyway. Plus I like to
drop new-ish producers who genuinely deserve some exposure) Nocow, Delete, VVV, Sorrow, Myown, Bonecold, Ghostek, Everlone, Phractal and Lex just for starters. These guys are from all over the globe.
As I said before the eastern Bloc are throwing up some brilliant producers at the moment.
And not wishing to blow my own trumpet, but I'm gonna anyway, me!
There's a lot of different flavors of the 2 Step Garage spectrum. There's club/dance floor based, Grime influenced, ambient, melancholic, dark
abstract, minimal, tuneful uplifting stuff and so on.
Anyway, check some of those names on Soundcloud to hear the music to hear for yourself and make up your own mind, you won't regret it!
