until a spokesperson from an advertising/digital web developer - gave a lecture in class the other day.

Makes me really leary as to what the web is going to become - just a big commercial inlet.

Did you know I could stick a cookie on this site from Amazon without anyone knowing that will give me money when you purchase? The same with Amazon, Loopmasters, William Hill etc etc. All through a forum signature. Do that on 1,000 forums, create topics that go viral and get insane views, and you have a lot of cookies stuffed on computers.

Hands down the best place to learn is the Warrior Forums http://www.warriorforum.com/

It's been around way before I was marketing. Stay out of the WSO section. People write about their successful methods and sell them. Whilst they do work, well most, all the information you ever need is available for free. Never buy anything.

It will take months to get your head round it. And you need patience, and drive, beyond what you've probably ever experienced. I fail 99% of the time, that's no joke. But when something hits off, it hits off big, and it makes it all worth it. There is lots of testing involved with Internet Marketing, testing and learning. The platforms I use, and the techniques I use, are constantly changing.

If you have to start anywhere, learn about SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Learn about keywords, niches, what it means to rank high in a search engine for a certain keyword etc and how you can make money from that.

If my website is at #1 when you search for "iPhone Cases" whenever a user types that in, and clicks your link, and purchases a product ... you get paid. How many people per month in the USA alone search for "iPhone cases" in Google? After doing some research it's 823,000 ... now if your at top of Google for that keyword, and 10% of the people buy a case thats £20, and you make £5 profit per case, thats a lot of money. And that's exactly what one portion of Internet Marketing is. It takes hard work to get to number one for a keyword on Google, and there is stiff competition, but this is why you need to learn how people do it.

Ask questions on the warror forums. No matter how n00bish they sound, people will offer you sound advice. Tell them your background, tell them what you want to learn. There are peope on that forum that knew nothing a year ago, and are now a success, and they document it all for free (well the good dudes do, the other idiots try to make money from it by selling their success).

If it sounds like you dont believe it, or if it sounds like its going to be hard work, don't even bother with it. It's not for you. But when I go pay for a range rover HSE, just because I want one for no particular reason, and pay for it with cash, thats when you know this business is worth it. I wake up at whatever time I want, chill at home all day, and make money, most the time without lifting a finger because I put in the hardwork for years in the past.
