I'm the idiot? See, the close minded people are the only ones that throw out insults like these. Did you ever stop to think, maybe your the idiot? :t:

Anyways, all I've tried to argue this whole time is that people have opinions and no one has the right to say what IS and ISN'T good, because everyone has their own OPINION. Damn, how stupid are you to not understand that? I never said BROSTEP RULES! or DEEP HEADS WIN! I said that people can like what they want, and just because YOU don't agree, doesn't mean they are uneducated or immature kids. How is that me being an idiot?

hahahaha, another failed attempt to make a valid statement I see :H:

Sorry that i've only stated mere facts. You can't force people to like music. Just because YOU don't like it, doesn't mean it's crap. It's all a matter of opinion. And still, nobody has answered if i'm only half educated because I do like both sides of the genre :dunce:
Your refusal to accept anything that we are saying shows that you're indenial to the fact that this so-called music, that happens to be at 140 is an absolute mockery. If you like cheap sounds then more fool you.

I listed my age, because thoughout this thread the word "kid" has been brought up several times. I then found it necessary to add my age so you would know where I "stand" in my credibility. Second, I listed my "music qualifications" because people were stating that anyone who listens to "brostep" are uneducated and don't understand REAL music. So I decided to tell you what my musical experience is to back up my statements of me in fact being just as educated as anyone else here. And the "should accept" it was me stating that people have opinions, and if your dumb enough to try and change people's mind, then you wont get very far in life.

don't in-fight, just let off one another. There's never much persuasion between those of us who are polarized.

Lol, this wasn't quite a dig at you, just something that I've seen coming quite popular in this forum, just makes me laugh the amount of times I see "yeah, but I'm 16 and play guitar and drums and flute so I think I KNOW music".

It's all opinion on a subjective matter. Even if you don't know what an instrument is, you can still decide whether you do or don't like something. Wasn't a personal dig at you.

*Disclaimer*
I in no way set out to offend anyone. Sorry if I did. Just everyone enjoy whatever you enjoy.

:w:
Blastfome wrote:SO what about the "adults" that like "brostep"? Ur tellin me that the only people that enjoy that music is the younger crowd? Ur tellin me there's not atleast ONE 40 year old in this whole world who likes "filth" music? hahhahahaha.
Nobody has suggested that.
Blastfome wrote:I'm 19, and to some I may be a kid, but I live on my own, do everything that you do, so guess what, I'm an ADULT.
Your brain is not fully developed until you're in your early twenties, so in the context of this thread you're still a 'kid'.
Blastfome wrote:Stop making excuses for the evolution of music. Things progress, expand. It's a part of life and we need to get over that concept. If humans didn't "evolve" from what some scientists believe to be as monkeys, where would we be today? In a tree swinging from branch to branch eating bananas all day.

Blastfome wrote:My point is, people need to stop making excuses for this music shift. Just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean it's "crap" music or that it's just some silly immature "phase".
Silly? No. Phase? Perhaps not. Immature? Yes, for the reason i've already stated.
Blastfome wrote:And it's actually quite rude when you say the only people that like that kinda music are kids. That's just plain dumb
I can see that being rude if you've projected your own insecurities onto the word 'kids'. It wasn't intended that way though.
Blastfome wrote:All i'm sayin is, it's a matter of opinion. We can like what ever music we want, and people need to get it through their heads that you can't control what "good" music is. The words GOOD and BAD are pretty much opinionated words in themselves. Let people listen to what they want, and love the music. That's what it's all about :4:

Seing as this thread (which I satrted to express a genuine concern of my own without insulting anyone specificaly, has gone right down the shitter; I might as well play the bitch too!

FFS why is it that whenever these brostep pussys (I don't care what you say, you listen to shit music and you act like twats on the dancefloor, therefore, I must insist on thinking of you as pussys) try to list their deep credentials they allways reel of the same shit:

'yo gee, y can't we all get along seen, I love that cookie monsta skrillex (personal ionterjection: he's a facking wasteman) datsik shit but, I know my deep stuff man. Here, i'll prove it: skream, benga, mala, coki, burial etc. you see, because I have listed these guys you must now take me seriously and not see me as the deranged tnuc I am'

There is a wealth of music within bass that is not jump up and, to be honest, i'd find ur opinion more valid if you where to cite some other artists as opposed to the usual list of deep producers. That list does not make you right.

Look, I know it's all a matter of opinion but, I am right and you brosteppers are wrong. End of.

Oh, and by the way; lol @ how quickly we all start ripping eachother apart.
I'll save my intelligent discussion for when i'm ta'ing in a primary school next week.
Bass music lover since day dot.
