just returned from my first proper trip to the Dam'.

Should of brought stuff back to be honest. Nothing huge just something to smoke on for the next few days. Missing it already. Got 360 xrayed and frisked to an extent and could of very easily took something back on my person. Stick a joint or 2's worth in a grinder and some in a bag of tabacco and your laughing.

In terms of Dubstep, Anti-War-Dub came on in a coffee shop on our last day. Vibes!

The Red Light District was something else as well. I mean iv'e read but never seen what its like. We went at about 12am after smashing a load of space cake. Found it so surreal and to an extent 'Fake'. It was unreal. Walked round a couple of times just amazed at what was going on around us. Some unreal birds in those red windows.

I'm from Holland and I always find it too fucking funny to hear foreigners tell their stories about A'dam xD
Glad you've had a great time Moultz!

There is also a rumor going around the country amongst us smokers that Snoop Dogg passed out in coffeeshop The Bulldog because he had smoked too much. Whether that is the truth, or just a rumor, I sadly do not now. But it sure as hell would've been funny.

haha! we went to the greenhouse and saw all the pics of the celebrities that have been to. The Dampkring was probably our most visited coffeeshop (the modern one near Barneys & the Greenhouse). The Kashmir Lounge out of the centre was the best one tho. Had a live DJ as well with literally the best set up you could ask for. Was rather surprised at that.

Whats this new rule in holland coming in about residents only being able to go into coffeeshops? is this true :o

Not too sure what exactly they're planning on doing regarding coffeeshops... there's alot going on about it now. Some even want it to become illegal (Which is abviously not going to happen, since our country is known for it's legalisation of marihuana all over the world).
But they did make certain changes already, one of which is that there's a law now that it's illegal to start a coffeeshop within a radius of I think 300 meters of a public school. And I believe that all coffeeshops that were already closer to a school than 300 meters had to move.
They were also very close to starting some sort of membership for each coffeeshop in the country, for which every1 had to have a "weedpass" as they called it to enter the shop. So only people with one of these weedpasses were allowed to enter it's corresponding shop, this to create a group of members for each shop to make access for foreigners almost impossible. Something like that, didn't quite understand what the fuck they were trying to achieve myself either tbh. But this actually never happened.

But again, not too sure about it all. The government has been coming up will all sorts of restrictions against coffeeshops and it's owners for years, but so far very few have literally been executed so I shouldn't be too worried about it.

well ive been twice now and both times i thought it would be rather stupid to even try and get it back.

Ive been by ferry and by air now and both times ive got back and cursed myself for not risking it.

Firstly, what the fuck are they gonna do if you have a spliff or 2's worth of weed? I mean id probably take a few grams back and that is still a slap on the wrists.

Anyway. The ferry is possibly more problematic as its viewed by many as having less security and thats where people slip up.. When i came home there were no dogs but i was told off several people on the ferry who have done the trip more than once that there usually is.

Airports on the other hand kinda have the opposite effect. People think they are huge on security. Yes they are but there not looking for miniscules amounts of weed. They are looking for liquids and shit these days that suggest terrorism. (im talking about airports that are in places that dont carry the death penalty for ridiculously petty crimes..) When was the last time you saw a dog in an airport? (touchwood for you mate if your gonna try)

I wouldnt bother packing it in your bag tho because it will have to be xrayed thru security and its more obvious altho i thought if you packed it properly like between folded clothes standing upright and you place your bag on the conveyor properly, maybe just maybe it will be undetectable?!?!?! (thats a wild theory) If your taking a bag to store under the plane. For me, a gram or 2 if noticed is not going to be considered enough to be even arsed about. The hassle just wouldnt be worth it. At the end of the day its gonna get smoked by the person taking it home and not going to cause any problem to society what so ever. (thats my view anyway)

Going thru the security bit id say do the following:

1) Get a grinder and put some in there. Thats easy a spliff or 2 when you get back home. My mate got a grinder from Manchester to Dam and back again without any worries and that was in his rucksake side mesh pocket. (Actually visible).

2) Buy some tobacco and stick it inside there. We did this but we felt that instead of being paranoid as fuck thru the airport we'd just smoke it because we had enough time. I went thru the 360 degree scanner at schipol and what it shows on the other side is a grey figure (like the shape of those figures on toilet signs) and my pocket and stomach came up red. The guy frisked me in those areas. My pocket had the baccy in it and he just waved me on. I was told before i went that a guy from work got 8 gram back in his pocket after going thru a scanner and i called bullshit but i can seriously say i believe him now.

3) if your gonna pocket it id suggest a smell proof baggy (they work for human noses pretty much. you have to sniff the bag to smell any weed really)

Just keep a cool head in the airport and dont bottle it id say. Dont be stupid as well with the ammount. Make sure its an amount your A) willing to lose worst come to worst... & B) not enough for you to get in some serious shit.

biggups for the detail mate. I reckon it could be a possibility. If anything I reckon it'll be possible to blag it after all it is Amsterdam and they'll simply dispose of it. It's worth a try I say :Q:

inform me of how you go on. But i aint peer pressuring anyone or anything its just my personal experience.

Think if i go back ill deffo try. Fuck it. The joys of getting over a spliff or 2 of absolute peng would be unreal. Firstly the bud, then the risk, then the thought of smoking possibly the best weed for miles around

My pet hamster says that in the context of what y'all are talking about, airport border security is lax on both sides. That is all.
