Re: Volume Question
it hasn't been mastered .. normalize it or add a limiter before rendering and testing on systems

Re: Volume Question
I have a similar problem at the mo.
Only able to work with headphones at the moment and I always have to re-level everything once I listen on another setup.
It`s got to the point that if I listen to my tracks on my headphones after I have leveled them on a different system, everything sounds top heavy.
I trust the reference speakers over my headphones which really bums me out.
Time to buy some new monitor headphones/monitors.

Re: Volume Question
There is a difference between getting a track mixed down and professionally mastered. As long as your track sounds clean, well proportioned and consistent that is about as far as you can take it. You cant compare your tunes to other professionally mastered tunes. As stated above if your playing it to your mates and stuff, have a slap a limiter on it to increase the loudness but its no substitution for getting it mastered.
Abstrakt.
