I recently broke my arm at a show so I'm sorta stuck doing a lot of post production for demos and whatnot.
Lately I've been trying to do some of the drumming for my songs (via electronic drum kit) and I've been working on using toms and fills a LOT.
Now that I'm disabled I figured now would be a good time to post some stuff as I'm not going to able to finish it off for a little while.
I'm also eager to hear what everyone else around is working on!!!

Btw that first demo is sounding fresh. Love the constant synth that keeps the rythym, it kinda plays in sets of 3's? u know the one im talking about?
Very very nice work mate. Would love to know what you are producing with daw and vst wise. Big up for that tune. I mean this should probs be in the WIP thread but i really dont care cos its very very nice.

really it sucks not being able to tweak the knobs if you catch my drift...

as for the tune all I'm using is logic pro9 to record and an access virus TI2 for all my synth sounds. I've done a little bit of post processing with some of the native distortion plugins and some other fx native to logic as well (phaser, etc)
the off beat synth you're talking about is formant oscillators and some creative filtering

These are huge! Good job man.
Love me some thick melodies ;D
Anyways, here's the latest WIP I've been revising. Sloppy parts here and there but the idea is solid.

Thank you!
It's always nice to get feedback from a fellow melodic man.

having a little trouble figuring out how to make this track bigger...
lost and out of ideas...
Maybe mix up for drum pattern here and there to give it a bit more swing.
Also it never hurts to throw in a couple toplines and melodies (at least I think).
Less is more though, so if you add things make sure it's only because the track wants those things

get some distortion and beef that shit up. would sound a lot better and get some create filter automation in there for more movement I suppose like some hipasses and different types of modulation like chorus/whatever that has some potential if you can get that sound sounding bigger if you know what I mean.

Yeah i know, i'll beef it up when the track is completely arranged! I keep the levels low for mastering later
