Canblaster, otherwise known as 22-year old Cédric Steffens, is - amongst many other things - a former video game music composer turned balls out club DJ, currently based out of Paris, France.
Canblaster, who debuted with last year's EP Jetpack, cites classic Basement Jaxx as a major influence, infusing his catalog with flares of rave, house, and latin beats. Since his debut, Canblaster has put his spin on a number of remixes for acts as varied as Drop the Lime, Teki Latex, and Spoek Mathambo!
We're extremely excited to bring Cédric to Glasslands for the first time, in conjunction with Dovecote Creative, for a long night of dancing debauchery!

Joining Canblaster is John Talabot, the enigmatic Barcelona-based producer who has been blurring the overdrive lines between pop, house, and dance since the incarnation of his current moniker in 2008.
Although Talabot's first inclination is born out of house, his take on techno and the like has merged with the palettes of artists like local pals Delorean, and remixing the likes of pop slanted artists The xx and Teengirl Fantasy. He has garnered attention from a range of publications - from XLR8R to Pitchfork - and still little is publicly known about his past projects or real name.
Talabot recently released his first effort with Young Turks in early May. The Families EP is stacked with summer stocked jams featuring vocal play from the lovely Cameron Mesirow (otherwise known as Glasser) to get you in the mood for the warmer months ahead.

South Carolina's Hard Mix, aka Noah Smith, released last summer's fuzzy single "Memories" amidst the chillwaving tidal wave, surfacing now on Dovecote Records with this year's strong showing debut Defaults.
Hard Mix joins us to debut the first live set ever!
