Midi Mapping to traktor 2
Okay, so I have a feeling everyone already figured this out that's why there is no posts about it, but can someone help me out. I am running my traktor kontrol s4 with both traktor 2 and traktor s4 (which ever one I'm feeling at the moment) and a MacBook Pro 10.6.6. I just bought a midi fighter to add to my djing and I can't figure out how to map it (for cue points and effects). Dj Tech Tools isn't really helping me out either because they won't send me a confirmation email to activate my account to download the instant gratification mapping, so i figured I would map it myself. If someone could give me step by step directions because I'm new to this that would be amazing!!
Thank you!

Re: Midi Mapping to traktor 2
Instant Gratification mapping will be useless on the new Midi Fighters (especially when used with the S4).
Before you dive into button combos, you should learn the basics of midi mapping.
The easiest way in Traktor is to go into the controller editor (or whatever it's called). Click on the Midi Fighter option in the drop down on top. Now you can go to the list on the bottom left of the big blank box and choose a function. Once you pick a function, click the "Learn" button, and press/twist/slide whatever you want on your Midi Fighter to control that parameter. Don't forget to unclick that learn button too!
You can save mappings through Traktor as well so make a good one!
(I also encourage learning the product before you drop the $$)

Also on Ean Golden's Twitter he said he is creating the mappings right now, so they should be posted on the website soon.
