what's the name of the program they use at the end? with the waveform in big going past?
Re: Kryptic Minds // Production Video & Masterclass
They were using Wavelab, a stereo editing program made by Steinberg. Analogous to Sound Forge.
Re: Kryptic Minds // Production Video & Masterclass
diddnt learn too much, but i watch these videos to get more of an idea of work flow tbh! i think its interesting just to see how different producers handle things. sure there are some vids better than others, the one i learned most from was either the mr scruff one or the reso one! but, anyways, stull an entertaining watch.

Re: Kryptic Minds // Production Video & Masterclass
well maybe what you should have learnt is that producers who probably have an infinitely better sound than yourself do all these things and if you somehow were under the impression that any of them were 'wrong' then you were being a noob whos spent too much time taking tips from people on the net who also are nowhere near as good at making tunes as KM.VirtualMark wrote:again, another waste of time from computer music:
5 mins of talking about hitting things off trees.
getting a genuine 128kbps sound rather than a fake digital(wtf??) 128kbps.
saturation on every single thing.
then more saturation on the master.
some ambient crackle shitty noises
skip how the bass was made, done on the virus earlier so who cares about the interesting part.
assign lfo to cutoff on kontakt
always cut at 500hz?? on the master? theres nothing useful there apparently. i don't get it.
then lets put an eq on the master and mess with the whole track, rather than eqing the individual elements better.
suffice to say i didn't learn much from this video.

Same but, I didn't expect them to give away all of their bass tips on a DVD. Good luck to them!
