i think what you're noticing is that there isn't much to say about that end of the spectrum. also, almost everyone who gets into it runs out of interest after 3 or 4 months.

anyway, in the Music subforum (right be below this) there is plenty of love for midrange bangers. As i pointed out there isn't much to read tho... just pages of "oh bra thats so filthy" or "I saw this at a dance and it was SO AWESOME". enjoy.

As a death metal fan you should understand the backlash towards that super aggy sound. It's exactly the same as the death metal communitys backlash towards the deathcore scene.

I don't even have a really big problem with that particular sound other than that it went from just being electro influenced and a bit more aggressive (where a lot of producers made lots of great stuff) to a shitfest where everyone stopped making tunes and started competing over who can make the "hardest" track.

it really isnt that black and white, i would say if you really cant find any threads about the flavour of dubstep you like then it is you are that are being narrow minded and limiting YOURSELF

you ever checked out goth-trad, lost, coki, sukh knight, lone wolf, spl or 501 etc as well as the artists mentioned above?

Piston is right, no point limiting yourself but at the same time this is Dubstep forum, if you want to talk about that type of dubstep then just start a thread, but if you do please make it new and interesting. You are bound to get comments from people who disagree with your taste, probably me, but there will also be a few people who agree with you. Just talk to those people, PM or something. Happy days.

Hi.
Looks like we share the same taste.
Let's pat ourselves on the back for enjoying the full spectrum of dubstep rather than just one sect of it :dubstep rave:

If you're from the States, you know what brostep is. Very well actually. Dubstep still isn't big at all here.

Just to be sure though, what are some producers that you enjoy listning to?

Well if you have such an 'extreme' taste in dubstep that NO ONE on this ENTIRE FORUM seems to SHARE, the least you could do is list off a couple of artists you like xD
I found a way to get piece of mind for years and left the hell alone, turn a deaf ear to the cellular phone

Uhhhh only Broken Note and Bar 9 are what you'd associate with 'Brostep' there. The rest are just hyped tear-out Dubstep.
