Patch for linking Massive parameters to MPK49?
Hey guys,
Is there a patch for linking Massive parameters to MPK49?
if not, when linking manually which are the most important/standard parameters to link to which pieces of the keyboard?
I spent enough money on this and had it ages and am not nearly using it to it's full potential! any help would be really appreciated, cheers

Are you talking about Massive as a standalone instrument, or running it through a DAW? If through a DAW, then the standard MIDI learn facilities that you'd use for any softsynth will be fine.

Yeah through Logic. I've already tried it but still can't get my keyboard to be properly functional with Massive, I need to know which parameters to map to which parts of the keyboard. I can't map the LFO sync at all for some reasonwub wrote:Are you talking about Massive as a standalone instrument, or running it through a DAW? The LFO sync wasn't able to be automated with earlier versions of Massive - make sure you've downloaded the latest version patch from the NI website via the User Registration portal.

It's entirely personal preference, and depends on what you're using the synth for & what sound you intend to get out of it.

Re: Patch for linking Massive parameters to MPK49?
ive been really trying hard to figure out how to map the buttons on the mpk to bank through presets in massive. ive determined that you have to use program change information in combination with the "pc programs" tab in massive. but for the life of me i cannot figure out how to map it correctly, does anyone else have any suggestions for doing this?

Wavetable positions
Filter cutoffs
Wet/Dry on FX
OSC Pitches
MOD OSC Positions
LFO Amount
LFO Synced Rate
is usually what I map out when doing sound design
