Its getting even worse lately. every third tune I get sent has no ID3 tag.
Get yourself steinberg wavlab. You should be analyzing your wavs to begin with imo, but thats another topic.
Anywho open your tune in wavlab, save as special---->mp3 ----> fill out your fucking ID3's

See I wouldn't sign that if I had a label, not a very original sound.atomcounter wrote:Soundcloud
Out of interest, would it be worth me pushing this track about to labels? I thought it sounded good, but i made it so ovbiously haha. Any feedback?? I dont want to be wasting my time if you all think its shit!

I thought that was pretty good. Kind of repetitive after a while but the main parts sounded pretty sweet.

Re: How to get signed
make music you like yourself first and not copying everyone else worrying about being signed
once people take note that you have something original going on start shifting your tunes about to the right heads and then hopefully the right ears will hear it
otherwise load up ni massive out filth someone and have a tune that has a shelf life of a couple months even to your own ears

this - its not hard to get people to hear your music. even the big labels (hotflush, hyperdub, etc) have dropboxes to hear new stuff. just dont fuck them around or they wont bother listening to your genre changing shiiit
