They make valid points just not very constructively. Guess the old boy just fancied a rant, I can understand that.

I'd like to think that people could make thier own minds up, i do find it a bit weird that the shop trying to sell the record is using that tone but maybe we're taking it the wrong way.

Bit weird how they didnt review Africa tho considering its the 45rpm on the record. Still, big up everyone who feels it! :D

If they were trying to be funny - and fair play if so - the simple fact that it could be misconstrued is out of character.

I don't see how war, famine, social inequality, disease, flooding, global warming, religious fundamentalism and urban decay are in the same ball park as flippant, throwaway reviews.

What if you'd had a review with a slightly sarcastic tone - how would you feel? Have a bit of fuckin empathy buddy.

People got there priorities all wrong these days.

Boomkat are the best online retailer bar none! Nothin better than gettin lean, sippin tea, wadin through the Hi-Res snippets blastin them thru the monitors and rincin away the dolla!

Oh it helps if you like tech/electronica as well!

Them reviews are always funny as fuck and prob a response from this in Wiki...
While Boomkat is a retailer, careful attention is given to their album reviews. While the reviews seem to steer clear of criticisms, they creatively convey what can be expected of the work, and make it easy to pick out the most impressive new albums with familiar and terse closing statements such as “Huge recommendation!” or “Absolutely essential.” These careful reviews, which primarily attempt to describe rather than critique, seem to allow Boomkat to cover a wide variety of genres without becoming too bland.
