This sounds really original, and what a great idea to sample that vocal, works really well. Are you giving out copies?

Really full sound. Digging it for sure dude!

Definitely mastered correctly. :)

It was kind of slow, is this a deep house trait?

Hate the song you've sampled, love the way you've sampled it. This doesn't really sound much like deep house, but whatever it is [slow mo house?], I like it. Great atmosphere, solid beats and lovely melancholy vibe.

feeling this. Not sure about the "yeah" and "take em to the bridge" samples. other than that, great job.

Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone!

@Ayatollah: I agree.... Gets a little irritating like halfway through the track... might make some adjustments there.
@OGP: I can definitely send you a copy! ... going to bring down those hi hats though and maybe make a few other level changes if you'd rather wait? The track in your sig is fucking brilliant by the way, keep it up!!
@TORIC: Crazy stuff going on there, really original. Really dig that kit... are you using massive? Could use a little more sub action.

Thanks again guys! :D

yer very nice track, very atmospheric.
i do think the vocal samples are over-used, i always like to use samples sparingly, keep the listener anticipating
nice work, fairly professional sounding track

Love the vibe. It's unique in a great way. Fantastic work.

The only thing I could say in terms of improvement is that cowbell/pan bang may be a tad loud. It feels like part of the main line instead of sitting back with the percussion. The only other thing which is a very minor gripe and purely personal preference is the last section feels a little repetitive, but of course if it were in a set it would be perfect, so ignore that.

Nice.

Thanks for the compliment man! We really appreciate it!

Yea, Massive is the main synth we use. I'll probably be adding more subs in at a later point when the song is put through our completion process!

Good stuff mate!

Thanks a lot man! Really digging your track above!! Great mixdown...samples, keys and bass are all on point. What do you use for those stabs?

thanks mate... those stabs are really just parts of the siren-y sample that appears throughout the song, chopped up and moved around a bit.

Cheers for all this everyone! Truly wasn't expecting it!

-The track in your sig is brilliant Robin. Love the swells. Looking forward to that release with Jack Dixon.
-Davwuh, just checked out your band camp page and saw you're into Japanese scores....ever heard Ken Ishii? He was recommended to me by a friend, some great House tunes written for a few animated series (though the series itself isn't much my thing.)
