Re: Korn 'Dubstep' Album
I like how dubstep is referred to as 'dubstep' to imply it's not really going to be what you'd expect i.e. authentic

Re: Korn 'Dubstep' Album
making half time metal with some bass synths just shouldnt be called dubstep
if the rest of the album is anything like 'get up' then i could imagine it being quite awful haha

Re: Korn 'Dubstep' Album
to be honest i like it more than skrillex's usual stuff. at least the guitars are a bit easier on the ears than his 'bass'lines.

In case anyone's wondering:
"Korn have recently collaborated with Skrillex, 12th Planet, Excision, Datsik, Downlink, Kill the Noise, and Noisia for an upcoming EP."

That sounds the most promising of the Korn-related news I've read on DSF so far... let's hope it was worth the effort!

a friend of mine is at download fest i think he can be happy that they didn't play any of there dubstep tracks

It's about dropping a track at the wrong speed, and it sounding better than the real thing.

Oh dear.
Do check out Blood of Heroes on Ohm Resistance. Justin Broderick and Bill Laswell with Enduser and others. It's brilliant.
